FORT VALLEY, Ga. (June 12, 2009) – Blue Bird Corporation’s Propane-Powered Vision school bus has received accolades from school districts from coast to coast this week.  On Tuesday (June 9), the Seguin ISD in Seguin, Texas received a rebate check for a $303,150 based on tax rebates and incentives available for utilizing propane-powered school buses from the Texas Railroad Commission and the federal government. 

FORT VALLEY, Ga. (May 13, 2009) – Blue Bird Corporation was recently recognized by the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute (AFVi) for outstanding leadership in the alternative fuels and vehicles industry as part of the National Alternative Fuels & Vehicles Conference.  The “Oxygen Award” was presented to Blue Bird Corporation for providing an affordable and eco friendly school bus offering found in the Propane-Powered Vision. 

FORT VALLEY, Ga. FORT VALLEY, Ga. (April 27, 2009) – "Blue Bird Corporation sold the business unit in 2007 to focus our efforts on growing our school bus unit and catering solely to the needs of the school bus industry.  As a result, we no longer have a financial connection with this unrelated business entity as it is a completely separate company."
