Four Blue Bird XCEL 102 Buses to Provide City Transportation for Laredo, Texas

FORT VALLEY, GA., August 13, 2003 The city of Laredo, Texas, has taken delivery of four 2003 Blue Bird XCEL 102 buses. National Bus Sales and Leasing, Inc., of Texas handled all aspects of procurement.

The 35' long, 102" wide XCEL 102 buses were equipped with John Deere 8.1L CNG diesel engines, Allison B300R transmissions, front and side destination signs, full air suspension, carrier transit air conditioning, front and center doors, ADA compliant features and video surveillance systems. The buses were configured to seat 32 passengers with an option for two wheelchairs.

Laredo, Texas has a population of approximately 150,000.
