Augusta Public Transit Extends Long Relationship with Blue Bird

FORT VALLEY, GA (Nov. 11, 2004) – Extending a relationship that dates back to 1997, Augusta ( Ga. ) Public Transit has taken delivery of three more Blue Bird buses. The addition of the three Ultra Low Floors (Ultra LF) means 18 of the 26 buses currently operating in the Augusta Public Transit fleet are Blue Birds. National Bus Sales handled all aspects of the sale.

The 35' long, 102" wide Ultra LF is equipped with a Cummins ISB 230 hp diesel engine, Allison B300R transmission, Meritor independent front suspension, all wheel disc brakes, Luminator LED signs, GFI farebox and seats 31 passengers.
