David M. Pasternak was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of the Blue Bird Corporation (NASDAQ: BLBD) in January 2026. In his current role, he leads all aspects of Blue Bird’s Human Resources function, including strategy, operations, total rewards, talent acquisition and talent management.
Dave brings a wealth of experience and demonstrated human resources leadership to Blue Bird Corporation, having held previous roles at Tyco, General Electric, Beacon Roofing, Black Box, Hertz and Honeywell. His experience includes experience from multiple industries including manufacturing, software, construction and service organizations.
Dave has a Master of Science, Human Resources from Marquette University, Bachelor of Science, Psychology from Michigan State University.
